My name is EJ Jonna,
and my son JP and I want to share our family’s story with all of our customers.
The Jonna Family markets were started by my father Toma and my brother Karim in the 1960’s in Detroit’s west-side. The stores expanded throughout Detroit and nearby suburbs. My Father built the business on three simple principles: 1) Honesty and Integrity; 2) Highest Quality, and; 3) The Very Best Service. My Father taught us that with these three simple principles in place you can never go wrong or fail. Please note that all of the Jonna Markets are individually owned by family members. We are associated with Jonna’s in Howell and Brighton, Picnic Basket Market in Plymouth, and Picnic Basket Gourmet in Milford.
